How to talk to your annoying in-laws!
Our next course, Communication for the Holidays, will teach you how to get through the holiday season without fighting, screaming, stressing, or losing your mind while your house and your life are filled with people whom you would rather avoid like the plague.
This is a six-week course, given via phone or Skype on Tuesdays from 7pm to 8pm Central Standard Time. That’s 5-6 PST, 8-9 EST, and some other time everywhere else. The dates are: November 6th (Thursday! Rescheduled due to election day), November 11th, November 18th, December 2nd, December 9th, and December 16th. There will also be a free special session on Tuesday, November 25th, to prep you for communicating over the Thanksgiving holiday.
What if I can’t make all those dates?
If you miss a session, that’s fine, we’ll record it so you can listen to it later. In fact, all participants will get MP3s of all the sessions. If you miss the call, you’ll miss out on the Q&A, though.
Here’s what we’ll cover:
Week 1: Communicating with people who are different than you
Week 2: Communicating with people you rarely visit
Week 3: Avoiding conflict
Week 4: Resolving conflict when you can’t avoid it
Week 5: When not to avoid conflict
Week 6: How to enjoy yourself despite being surrounded by crazy people
This course costs $100 per person. There are discounts for couples and more. And of course, if for any reason you’d like your money back after the course is over, we’ll happily refund it.
We are limiting attendance to 100 people, because we don’t want to end up with oodles of people all shouting at once. 100 will be a nice friendly group; we’ll get some quality Q&A without everyone trying to talk over each other.
You can email us questions or suggest specific things you’d like us to cover in the course, and we’ll accommodate as many as we can.
Want to be a VIP?
We’re also offering a VIP package for $250 per person. In addition to the course, the VIP package includes 2 hours of personal consulting (split however you like!) and a copy of the Usual Error book. We’re capping the VIP registrations at eight people.
How do I sign up?
Update: The course is going well! You can still jump in midstream and register now, and you can catch up by listening to the recording of all the sessions you missed (only available to participants).
We’re looking forward to having you in the course! We hope it will change how you communicate with those you usually avoid, and smooth your holiday season this year and for years to come!
Let us know if you have any questions.
